Well, I think there are several items that can have an impact. CFQ's are a great way to start your unit. You can get your studtent's attention right from the beginning. I believe assessments during the project are needed to make sure the project it complete. Checklist can be very effective in this process of the project. Finally, I like to end with a KWHL. I believe the "How" is important especially when you are introducing new technology.

Module 7 Reflection
1.) Working in groups would allow for more technology to be incorporated. Student could make a movie with digital pictures, video, and music.
2.) Have several guest come in from McDonalds to Corporations and have them tell students what kind of technology that use and how it affects their job.
3.) Communication and collaboration would bet great through a chat or a blog

Module 6 Reflection
Students need to take a role in their learning. You always here you will get something out of it, what you put into it. That is so true. Students need to be active and motivated to complete their work. Technology is a great tool for this. Students are out of the traditional classroom and working on something in which they are in control of. Their project will prove what kind of effort they put into it.
Student Centered Assessment
Students need to understand the goals of the project. Doing this in small steps is the best way to go. Students can ask questions, teachers can make observations and give suggestions. Students will be expected to have a certain amount of their work done in a timely manner. Completing checklist along the way will help the student stay on task and get their project done on time.
Assessment can be effective if it is use in a good way. You want to you that data to improve our lesson or to identify the areas you need to work on.

Module 4 Reflection
How can technology be used most effectively to support and assess student learning?
Technology can be used to get the students excited about the project especially if they are
encourage to use their creativity. Students tend to work harder and take pride in their work.
Teachers are their are there as facilitators, not teachers. Teachers can interact with students to
see their progress and offer some suggestions, but the project remains with the student. Projects
that students can do on their own with their own ideas are usually better than a whole class doing the
same thing. Students tend to use their prior learning and build on that to complete their project.
Students will also feel more confident talking about something they know a little about if they
have to give a presentation on it.

Module 3
Keeping my students focus and on task is my goal. When students get on the Internet in middle school, depending on their "mood" can determine what they will do. Teachers need to be up monitoring what the students are doing. Teachers need to ask students questions, observe their work, and let them know you are watching them. Students need to know and understand what the expectation is while they are in the computer lab. This will cut down on a lot of wasted time.
Module 2 Reflection
This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQs, or formative assessment in the following ways . .
1) Getting the lesson started with interest and involvement from students
2) How to get students to reach the goal of the project
3) How to keep students on task during a project
4) Developing a timeline for students to follow
5) Create formative assessments
6) Create summative assessments

Module 1
I think this is going to be a very educational uplifting experience. I don' t like be an instructional designer. I would rather implement the information using technology. It is going to be a challenge to start from the beginning and working my way to the end. But as we all know, technology is the future. We want all students to take an active roll in technology like they do with their cell phones. Technology can be use to support learning.
